Download & Printing Checks

Checks are generated as part of payroll report. You can get list and URLs of those reports on Payroll Overview endpoint.
On sandbox are checks generated in safe version so they are not payable.
On live instances are checks generated in printable version. MICR font is used on check so please don’t forget that checks should be printed with metallic ink. Some check creditors now scan checks, and they don’t need metallic ink but some of them still leveraging older technology where is metallic ink required.
Printing checks without metallic ink can lead to marking check as invalid or require additional payment for creditor.

Checks from Sandbox

On sandbox are checks generated in safe version so they are not payable. But it is still heavily recommended to not use real account numbers and other private information on Sandbox
