Refreshes the current state of specific notifications for an employee-scoped request.

Access: System, Admin, ClientAdmin, and permitted Employee users.

Uses the selected employee role when employeeId is supplied. Clients can call this endpoint periodically to retrieve the current state of already received notifications.
